The Orihuela Costa

BEACHES - The beaches surrounding this area -Playa Flamenca, La Zenia, Campoamor, Punta Prima, Cabo Roig and La Manga - are without doubt among the best on the Costa Blanca, their fine golden colour contrasting sharply with the clearness of the sea.
Many beaches have been awarded the “Blue Flag” to signify safe swimming and cleanliness.
GOLF COMPLEXES - There are five 18 hole golf courses to choose from: Villamartin (which housed the Open Mediterranean in 1995) Campoamor, Las Ramblas, Rojales and La Manga.
Golf is not the only sporting attraction in this area; in addition to the water sports there is horse riding, tennis clubs and numerous restaurants, hotels etc., which stretch over 16km
of coast.

Torrevieja itself has two marinas together with a large fishing harbour where fishing is a popular pastime with locals. It also houses a large sports club, the Royal Club Nautical. The waters are suitable for nautical sports, especially deep-sea diving, water skiing and
all types of sailing. If you own a boat or facilities are easily found as there are sports harbours in less than one hundred miles of coast.
